Over Belt Stencil

 

It's Mid Month inspiration over at A Colorful Life Designs.  Until July 22nd you can get this 6x9 stencil for

$4.00 and if you use my coupon code at checkout DANIAFAN10 you get an additional 10% this and your entire order as well.   The stencil has so much interest and since it is a large stencil you can rotate it on a card background to get different looks.  

For my card above, I did a simple ink blending over the stencil.   I masked off areas depending on where I wanted a different color.   Inks used were old ink pads from various companies that have retired and I don't own the re-inkers.  

The stamp set used is by Creative Worship Stamps called Summer Vibes.

I created a second card with this stencil, but used a different orientation.

 For this card I used Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Picked Raspberry.  I spritz with Tim Holtz mica sprays set #6.  The coffee die cut is by Sizzix.   I backed the cup with a layer of vellum to break up the business and I used a die from Pink and Main called Stitch Arches Dies.  The "Thanks" stamp and die is by WPlus9 called "Hello and Thanks."  It's an old set and it seems that WPlus9 is not around, as of the writing of this post I can't find the store.
